Location: ½ mi. N. of Cornerville Rd., Flannigan Twp., Hamilton Co., IL. SE Corner of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 15 Twp 7S RSE.

Directions: From Galatia, IL, take Galatia Rd. north to Tate’s Chapel Rd., turn right (north), go 1 mi. to Crossroad (Cornerville Rd.),
continue north about ½ mi. to Brown Farm on left. Cemetery is located about ½ mile west of the farm house back in a field. There is no
road and because you have to cross private property, permission must be obtained to visit the Cemetery. Present owner is Larry Brown.

Because aged stones are hard to read, some dates could be in error. They are listed as correctly as known at the present time.

Good Hope Cemetery in Hamilton Co. is close to the Saline Co. line and I think in Flannigan Twp. This cemetery was restored a few years
ago and has been maintained until now by a group of the Tate Family who lives close to it. John V. Tate is buried in it and he was a 1812
war Vet. Tate’s from the Tate’s Chapel Methodist church worked so hard to restore the graves. There could be more burials at Good Hope
Cemetery. If anyone has knowledge of lost graves located there, and not listed here, please contact Jane (Tate) Dyer
